We stayed at Loch Ronnach and it was so beautiful. My Highland Series is set in Scotland. Highland Honor, Highland Magic and Highland Song. I also have a story set in Nafplio Greece where we visited, Sweet Talkin' Sugar and Sweet Misbehavin' had roots in Meteora Greece. It's not set there but the heroine came from there. I have other stories set in the States, in places we have visited. Thanks for hosting my new book JUNE on your blog. It's strange to do a tour without 'going' anywhere. This has got me thinking about travel.
You've taken plenty of photos in Europe, Christine - several in UK I note. What's your favourite European capital city and your most memorable place in UK? I'd love to know if you'd like to share.
As a writer, can you tell me about a place you have visited that you have written into a story?
One of my favourite cities is Tallinn in Estonia. Right up there in northern Europe across from Finland and on the border with Russia - it's snowing there today! One of the best things about being a writer is that I get to choose where I set my stories and Tallinn was a must. Cobbled streets, tiled rooftops and an encompassing medieval city wall with seven towers - it is an unbeatable location. Whether you approach the city from the air or the Gulf of Finland you'll never forget the city. It will capture your heart. If readers haven't made the trip yet, consider putting it on your bucket list - until then read JUNE and have a preview of the best of the Baltics.Alicia Stonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07911300784330218623noreply@blogger.com
