Shape Shifter Saturday

In honor of lovers of shape shifter romances and my upcoming shape shifter novel, today on my blog it's SHAPE SHIFTER SATURDAY. I don't have a blurb for my novel as yet and I'm only beginning the third chapter. I do, however, think I have a name for this novel. Instead of WIP, I might be calling this one, Catching Meara.

What do you all think?

My hero is Morgan James and he shifts into a black Jaguar. He likes water even in his cat form. Personally I love this because I can have some great water scenes. The heroine is not a shape shifter. She is a quirky technical analyst who can hack anyone or anything. When the hero meets her he discovers she has a rosette for a tattoo not too dissimilar from his naturally occurring rosettes.

Rogue Phoenix Press has published three shape shifter novels so in honor of them I'm posting a blurb for each.

Dragons Among the Us

As the title suggests these characters shift into dragons.

BLURB

In a world full of anomalies such as the platypus and self reproducing Komodo dragon, is the human race willing to accept that dragons may be real?

Sapien Draconi-human-dragon shape shifters-all over the world face this dilemma every day. The question has become life and death as their species is plagued with unexpected and unwanted shifting in the most unlikely of places.

The Ancient Ones-full-blooded dragons-can offer advice, but few seem to put forward workable solutions to the problem.

The fate of the shape shifters hangs in the balance, and an answer must be found before the Homo Sapiens find, dissect, and hunt Sapien Draconi to extinction.

Dragons Among the Eagles is set in the United States but I hear through a secret source there might be other Dragon books coming soon. And they will be set in various other countries.

BLURB

Aleda Sable faces the toughest decision of her life--to stay in dragon form, live as a two-legged or put one foot in the human world and one talon in the dragon world.

An urgent call from her newspaper editor sends Aleda to report on an accident whose driver appears to be a dragon. Authorities have the scene locked down and aren't allowing access to anyone. Television broadcasts flash pictures of scaly legs hanging from a crashed car. However, the bodies disappear into thin air. When the stations try follow-up reports, all they find are state highway workers busily tearing up the roads.

In determining the truth of the shifter disappearances, Aleda finds the truth of her own dilemma.

And finally:  Tiger Mine

Tiger Mine is set in Australia and I hope sometime there will be more shape shifter stories from Angela Castle.

BLURB

Licking her wounds after ending a six-year marriage to a serial cheating husband, Julia has run away to her grandfather's house high in the Australian Mountains, hoping to fix the old neglected building up while she contemplates her future, only to discover a huge white Siberian tiger on her door step.

Tiger shifter Mohan has escaped, jumped ship and is in hiding from the hunter who has ripped him from his world and murdered those he loved, when a curvy Aussie woman turns up at the old house he’s managed to shelter in these past weeks. He offers his services as a builder by day, returning to her by night as a tiger. Despite the strong attraction he has trouble fighting, what he discovers in Julia is a new kind of warmth and kindness he is in desperate need of.

Julia knows her gorgeous Russian handyman is harboring dark secrets, but can her heart stand falling in love and losing again?

Can they help each other mend the deeper issues which plague their lives? And bring hope of a new future. Or will Mohan’s past hunt him down and tear the new fragile bond between them?

These are all fabulous books, hope some of you pick up a copy and enjoy!
They are all available in print, kindle, ebook and nook.
