Christine Presents: The Bobble Head Babes

The continuing saga...

TICKETS TO GREECE HAVE BEEN BOUGHT AND PAID FOR!!!

Ten days in Greece, four days in Albania and seven days on Crete. Is that a birthday present or what? We have been planning this vacation for over three years and now it will finally happen. Want to go tomorrow but darn it, I have to wait. But I have so much to look forward to and a lot of writing before I leave.

Ruins, ruins and more ruins, I guess they're pretty much the same once you've seen one you've seen them all but I'm still pumped. And I'm very eager to get pictures of the most beautiful water in the world. The blues are soooo.... blue.

The bobble head babes haven't been up to much. The weather has been nasty making walking even nastier. Walking in sideways rain is not my idea  of fun when I can go run on the treadmill. Hmm...neither actually sound like too much fun. But I'm probably the only person in the world who enjoys the treadmill.

Looking forward to summer... Memorial Day is today. Love to see all the flags flying on the bridges and homes. We live in a great country.

Have fun! I was stationed in Greece (an hour away from Athens in a small town called Nea Makri - which was right next to Marathonos (where they did the famous run)) back in 1985 for 2 years - LOVED it! - and went back for a visit in 2001 Also went to Crete which I think you will find rather tame ;) If you can hop a boat to Mykonos DO it!!

Thanks for the advice. We'll try to get to Myknonos. We're also going to Santurini. (sp)? My son in law grew up in Athens so I'm sure we'll get to everything. Thanks again.
