Christine Presents: “Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are there cannot be one without the other yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel I remember wondering to be always together yet forever apart?” ― Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook

The Bobble Head Babes and
The Continuing Saga...
A look at last week

If you have never camped in a yurt, it's a fun experience. They are heated and completely protected from the elements. Most of my family went camping for three days at Beverley Beach, Oregon. The forecast was terrible. The previous week the weather was sunny and hot, but our days... Well, we weren't supposed to see anything but rain.

Arriving on Tuesday night the weather was pretty good, the beach was sunny and no wind. But... there was a storm coming. And it did hit. The wind and the rain roared on land that night well after everyone went to bed. All its fury was spent by the morning and we enjoyed a warm, windless day on the Oregon coast in September.

Beautiful!

Thursday proved to be warmer than Wednesday and just as windless. Few people in the campsite and fewer people on the beach. A private beach was just what the doctor ordered.

Both sunsets were gorgeous. The first night there were shades of blue and apricot. The cloud formations fractured the light in beautiful patterns.

The second night the colors were more brilliant, vibrant--oranges and yellows. Once again so beautiful.

Is that the same beach? Oh yes.

Now we are getting ready for our trip to Greece/Albania. Will be meeting the parents and grandparents of my son-in-law. Going to have so much fun and what an adventure with tons of pictures.
